TERMS & CONDITIONS DISCLAIMER:

By taking part in the race you acknowledge that you have been provided with this disclaimer and agree with the terms of it.

In the unlikely event of an accident or loss or damage to your personal effects, you acknowledge that the Organising Body associated with Narberth Nobbler will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the Narberth Nobbler (except in instances of personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organising Body of the Narberth Nobbler) and you waive all and any claims against the Organising Body in that respect.

Transfers:

Transfers are available until 14 days before the date of the race. (Any later requests will not be accepted & messages ignored. See below for full details)

IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT THE RACE HAS TO BE CANCELLED YOUR ENTRY WILL BE CARRIED FORWARD TO THE NEXT RUNNING OF THE CANCELLED RACE OR WE MAY REFUND AT OUR DISCRETION.

A transfer is when you move your place to another runner you know or who would like to run instead of you. 

This can be done by messaging us and providing  the new runners details.

Transfers are only accepted up to 14 days before the event.

Messages about transfers within 14 days will be ignored.

Transfers at registration will not be allowed and anyone found running another anotherrunner’s name will be banned from future events (both parties!)

On the Day Entry:

We sell out every event (so far!) so on the day entries are not possible.

All entrants must:

● Beware of traffic, marshals, spectators, the general public and other entrants abide by the orders and directions of marshals, race organisers and police observe and obey all signs along the route

● Abide by the Highway code in the road sections of the course and to show respect and consideration to all users of the highway and other users of the footpaths and bridleways and give way to other users

● Read and abide by the race instructions (see final instructions, you can find this on the webpage)

● Ensure they are medically fit to enter the race

● Be aged 18 or over (some events allow runners to be 16 or over)

●  Enter with an expectation of completing within the time limits and understand that there will be no support, sweep vehicle or provision of emergency services outside the time limit

●  NOT bring dogs or other pets on the course

●  NOT wear ipods or other musical devices, as the road sections will not be closed

Right to Refuse Entry

The Narberth Nobbler Organising Committee reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons not complying with the terms and conditions and reserve the right to make any last minute changes to the event, other than those previously publicised, for reasons of safety.

Data Protection

The Narberth Nobbler Organising Committee guarantee that the provision of personal data for entry in this event will not be shared, publicised, passed on or used in any way beyond the bounds and requirements of this event except for the publication of race results comprising of your name and completion time only.

Use of Images

By taking part, all participants confirm that they give their consent for their names and any footage or photographs taken during their participation in the races, to be reasonably used for the purposes of publicising the Narberth Nobbler, via the website or via local media (newspaper, radio, tv).

Liability for Injury / Accident

The Runners are responsible for their own safety when participating in the Narberth Nobbler. The Organising Body takes all reasonable steps to minimise the risk of injury to participants during fundraising events, however, by signing the Terms and Conditions disclaimer, you acknowledge and you accept that there is a risk of injury whenparticipating in an event such as the Narberth Nobbler and that there may be conditions or circumstances beyond our control that can lead to unforeseen risks. There is astringent risk assessment process in place for each and every event which aims to minimise or eliminate the risk to everyone taking part. However, by taking part in this event,you acknowledge that there may be conditions or circumstances beyond our control that can lead to unforeseen risks. If you have any concerns or queries please contact usbefore agreeing to take part in this event.

Liability for Theft, Loss or Damage

The Narberth Nobbler Organising Committee will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of personal belongings, other than caused as a result of negligence or other breach of statutory duty by the Organising Committee.

Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Entries cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the event is cancelled. If the Narberth Nobbler Organising Committee cancel the event (due to unforeseen circumstances), race entries cannot be refunded. However, your entry fee can be carried forward, and reasonable endeavours will be made to reschedule the event as soon as possible.

All entrants must confirm to registration staff  that they have read and understood this form, before taking part in the event. Race numbers will not be given out without a signed disclaimer form.
